PROCESSING AND DELIVERY TIMES
We ship using DHL, Parcelforce, UPS, APLE-Amazon, Hermes or Royal Mail and aim to get all orders out on the next business day and sometimes even the same day. For most of the country, therefore, you will receive your order in less than 5-6 business days after placing it. This INCLUDES processing and ship times.
Occasionally some items may be shipped direct to you from suppliers in Europe, this will be stated during the order process.
We will deliver anywhere in the United Kingdom, including N.Ireland & the Channel Islands. We do not make BFPO or international deliveries (including Austalia and Canada). We also do not yet offer guaranteed overnight shipping.
PRODUCTS ARRIVING TOGETHER
Most of the products are all shipped out together in one box and will arrive at the same time. If the order contains any 're-stocking' items we may send the available items immediately and the 're-stocking' items a few days later - there is no extra cost for this service. If the order is large and is shipped in more than one package, they may arrive separately-although that is rare. Tracking references and delivery date estimates are emailed to you for each package sent.
WHERE IS MY ORDER?
If the courier's tracking information shows the order has been delivered, be sure to check everywhere - occasionally carriers will leave packages with neighbours. If there is no tracking information or the tracking information shows the item as returned to us, contact us by email. We may have the wrong shipping address, the driver may have attempted to deliver it but been unsuccessful, or the carrier may have lost it.
IF YOU ARE NOT HOME
It is up to the driver's discretion whether to require a signature when delivering your order or whether to simply drop it off at your doorstep or with a neighbour. If the driver feels it is best to obtain a signature, he/she will try a few times to get one. After that, the package will be returned as "undeliverable" and you should get a full refund unless it is determined the order was improperly "refused." These undeliverable orders will not be resent. A new order must be placed. All orders over £250 require a signature.
TRACKING THE SHIPMENT OF YOUR ORDER
We send you a shipment confirmation email once your order ships. In it we provide you the courier's tracking number, which you can use on www.parcelforce.com, UPS, www.RoyalMail.com or www.DHL.co.uk to track your order.
DO YOU ACCEPT INTERNATIONAL ORDERS?
At present, Placemats.co.uk is not able to fulfill shipments outside of the United Kingdom. However our USA site, Placemats.com contains a wide range of placemat designs for customers in the continental USA.
