The 5mm thickness ensures the vintage effect Botanic Garden Flora & Fauna place mats not only maintain their rigid structure but prevents heat from dinner plates from affecting your dining room furniture. The top surface and edges of the mat are heat sealed with a glaze layer which helps prevent stains and scratches from getting through to the artwork underneath.
